This is for all the members of EPSRC both past and present, as well as the general public. It is with a sad and heavy heart that we announce that our organization, EPSRC, will cease operations. This is due to being advised that Legislation that has allowed EPSRC to operate has been repealed by the current Ontario PC Government, the Good Samartitan's Act. We have been providing services through numerous communities in Ontario since 1976 and now have been forced to shut down. We can no longer function without liability insurance, which cost over $32,000/year. As a volunteer based organizations, we cannot afford this 500% increase in costs. We want to thank everyone tremendously for volunteering their time and their dedication to helping. We feel that it is important to thank all those who participated and contributed through oour ogranization. We would like to wish everyone all the best in their future. Board of Directors - EPSRC |
